 Hi there, 
I've just been told about this web site by Roger Taylor  did a VHF certificate at the North West Kent college (NSTC) and he was the instructor. I was a student the last year the MNC was open. I was on the first year of my OND marine comms. I'm now working, well have been for the last 2 years, at the Port of London Authority. Nice to see the college still living on.
