Subject: It's been a long time


Hi all,

This is Tony Currie, former student (1981-84) and lecturer (1988).  Found your site by chance, looking for info on the British Sailors Society - wanted to get in touch with Fr Bill McCrae!

Wonderful remembering all the old names - saw a TV programme on architecture a few months ago, dealing with the development of Ingress Abbey and saw the demolition of the old college.

I now live in Bournemouth and work for the local council as a senior building surveyor - nothing to do with the sea or electronics!  

By coincidence however, one of my colleagues is Martyn Sexton, a deckie who was at the college at the same time as me, early 80's.  He spent some time with BP, was laid off, did a bit of tramping around the coast and now works for our parks department, keeping Bournemouth beautiful!

If anyone is in the Bournemouth area, give us a call, it would be super getting in touch with some old faces!
