Hi.

Mick Parker (1983/86) got in touch with me and told me about this web page.  

Mick works for Vodafone like myself.  Mick is more switch oriented whilst I'm out in the field looking after the radio side of things.

I spent seven years exactly at sea.  After I left college I spent around three months with the Herts. Police as a Communications Technician (very dull and boring) so left and worked for about 5 months at Cossor Electronics (they manufacture Secondary Surveillance Rader + MoD 'Products!).

With something like 14 months already 'eaten' into my MRGC I was just about on the point of thinking I'd never get to sea when the good old RFA came up trumps.

Not the real 'Merch' but I saw the world. a couple of fracas and a good time on the whole.

I'm now living in Royston, Herts. and married to the lovely Heather (no kids at the mo.)

I still keep in touch with Andy Maddison and Mick of course and I'm definitely for the reunion.  I did once pump into - again a name from the past - Heather Mossop at the Stakis Hotel in Newbury - now the Hilton North - I think she's on the road quite a lot/traveling.

Anyway, keep in touch and I'll check the website/e-mail regularly.
