Left the Longfield Schools to attend college studying electronics then travelled the seven seas for ten years in the Merchant Navy as the Communications Officer on Cruise Ships (P&O and Princess Cruises) and Electrical Engineer on real Banana Boats, with the world as my oyster - finally settling down in ... Gravesend, by the river front !
