I stayed on an extra year, left to join Shell Tankers as an engineering officer, then joined Cunard, and did three world cruises on the QE2, left in 1987 to join Dunlop.
I design suspension systems for ships engines, trains and other vehicles.
I am married with a son, and live in Leicester. I am studying at Brunel University part time for a PhD. Still smiling!
