Peter Brown

I was a student at MNC starting my MRGC/DTI radar at South Norwood college in 1974 and moving to Greenhithe when it opened in 1975 for my final two years.

After 6 years at sea with the infamous Marconi (Marconi Marine) including completing a further 2 terms at Southampton College to gain an Electronics Officers Certificate I returned to MNC as a lecturer. I worked at MNC for 5 years until it closed in 1989.

After MNC closed I worked for two years in the City Of London then moved on to a company that made machinery for the paint and ink industry. The company grew rapidly and I completed a management buyout of the company and then after a further 2 years sold out my share of the business.

I now work as Sales and Marketing Director for a company based in Nelson Lancashire although I still live in Northamptonshire. I also run with my wife a small software development supplying specialist bespoke software to new venture supplying industrial dispense machines to the paint and ink industry.

The web site is excellent and I have been monitoring it for a while, however there appears to be very little sign of others visiting it. Hopefully as more ex staff and students get to hear about it then there will be more activity.

Regards

Peter Brown
